Dr. Andrey Korolev
Director of Research and Development
Dr. Andrey Korolev has more than 20 years of experience in the field of inorganic/organometallic synthesis and semiconductor materials research, in both academic and industrial settings, that will help Wonik Materials secure a position in the high tech materials industry. After receiving a doctorate degree from Wayne State University in 1998 and 3 years of postdoctoral studies (with Prof. R.F. Jordan at The University of Chicago and The University of Iowa, and with Prof. C.H. Winter at Wayne State University) Dr. Korolev transitioned to the Fine Chemicals division of Sigma-Aldrich where he began working with Dr. Marek Boleslawski. Dr. Korolev spent over seven years perfecting small and industrial scale syntheses of high purity materials for application in the electronic industry and began assisting efforts in marketing and promotion of products to clients at major scientific conferences. Before joining Nova-Kem in 2012, Dr. Korolev spent four years as an R&D staff scientist and project manager at Air Liquide’s R&D center in Newark, Delaware (DRTC) where he worked with Dr. Christian Dussarrat, and he continues in the Director of R&D position in the newly formed in 2018 Wonik Materials North America R&D center. Dr. Korolev has multiple publications in peer reviewed journals, patents and presentations at major scientific conferences.
Dr. Hima Kumar Lingam
Dr. Hima Kumar Lingam brings an extensive expertise in inorganic/organometallic chemistry to our R&D group. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2008 from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India while working on the energy storage materials and catalysis. After completing his post-doctoral work in the field of Borane chemistry at Ohio State University Dr. Hima Lingam joined Nova-Kem R&D group in Germantown, WI in 2013 as a Scientist. He quickly adapted to the new environment and successfully led multiple R&D projects. His excellent work and leadership qualities earned him a promotion to the Group Leader in 2015 – the position he currently holds in Wonik Materials North America R&D center. Dr. Lingam has numerous patents and publications in the peer reviewed journals as well as conference presentations.
Moo C. Lee
Chief Finance Officer
Mr. Lee graduated from the Korea University with the Bachelor degree in economics in 1987 and started his career in finances working for Korean Airline in Seoul, South Korea. In the next 30 years Mr. Lee worked as a CFO in many companies, in some instances bringing them from the early start-up stages to the fully operational establishments. Moo Chan joined our group in 2016. His professional experience and fluency in Korean language make Mr. Lee a very valuable member of Wonik Materials North America for maintaining a good communication and relationship with Korean customers.
